Elektromontage delivers the first control room in a series of twelve for Texas

Elektromontage is delivering complete control rooms for gas turbine facilities, with the final destination being Texas, USA. The shipment is the first in a series of twelve containerized units scheduled for production and delivery during the year.

The first container is now ready to leave the production facility. Roberth Johansson, one of the project’s three project managers, has been involved throughout the entire process.

“Today, we are delivering the first LER for testing and verification.”

LER stands for Local Equipment Room and is a fully equipped control room. Following testing in Finspång, the unit will be shipped to Texas, where it will be installed as part of a gas turbine facility.

First delivery in a series of twelve

The project includes a total of twelve containers that will be delivered during the year. In previous projects, Elektromontage supplied switchgear systems, control cabinets and junction boxes — components that now form part of a larger integrated solution.

Securing the contract is the result of both increased demand for qualified suppliers and Elektromontage’s proven track record, where quality standards and certifications have played a key role.

“We have been a certified supplier of switchgear systems and control cabinets for many years. This is the next step in expanding our offering.”

The project also creates opportunities for future collaboration.

“It gives us another area of expertise to build on and provides a strong foundation for further developing the partnership.”
